I’m taking Geometry regular instead of honors in an online course. Will a good college still look?

Question by athelete64899: I’m taking Geometry regular instead of honors in an online course. Will a good college still look?
Here is the story. I’m a freshmen and this year I took,
Algebra 1 honors
Spanish 2
Integrated science honors
English 1 honors
Advanced Communications
Band
HOPE (A required PE class)
Health Science 2 (Medical Academy in my school. A special class).

Now I wanted to get ahead and take Algebra 2 honors next year as a sophmore, so I decided to take Geometry honors online.

Geometry honors is almost double the regular course and much harder when taking online. And due to the fact you have to teach yourself, it’s very hard.

I think I want to take the regular course.

If I get all A’s in that would a college like UF look and say “Wow! He didn’t take that as an honors course. But he did go up and above to take it online…”

Next year my schedule is looking as follows,
AP Biology
AP World History
Spanish 3 honors
Algebra 2 honors
English 2 honors
Band 2
Health Science 1.

What do you guys think?
To try to get into UF, FSU, etc etc.
Thanks.

First of, WOW! You are smart! And if you (well, u r ) ask me, I believe that your doing a great job and that yes, taking Honors Algebra next year isn’t a bad idea, but if you know that you won’t be able to teach yourself by taking a class online, then don’t sweat it! I think that the college of your choice is going to love what you’ve been doing already.-Keep up the GREAT work!
